His impressive qualifications as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand further enhance his profile as a top-notch legal professional. Professor Karunadasa's legal journey began in 2007 at Victoria University, and he furthered his education at RMIT University, the Australian National University, and Queensland University of Technology, cementing a solid academic foundation that has elevated his skills and enriched his understanding of the law. With a wealth of international experience as both a lawyer and migration agent in Australia, Professor Karunadasa has successfully ascended to the role of Principal Lawyer at Trans Advisory International (TAI) Lawyers. 

With more than 18 years of diverse legal experience, Professor Karunadasa is uniquely qualified for influential roles like Law Lecturer and Dean of a Law Faculty. Bill is a strong advocate for access to justice. Bill believes in hard work and providing clients with professional and courteous service at all times. He will always consider clients interests a matter of priority, balancing his paramount duty to the Court and service to the client. Bill is Detail-oriented, efficient, and professional with extensive experience in the Australian migration and administrative law spaces, and their methodologies. Bill is a strong analytical and problem-solving individual, with the ability to make carefully thought-out decisions. Always motivated in any environment and prepared to meet any challenge. Placing an importance and advocating for people and organisations to have access to justice and professional legal services. Bill has taken migration cases to appeal tribunals at the MRT, AAT, and RRT, with a near perfect success rate. He has also had huge success in referring cases to the Minister under the ministerial intervention appeal process.

She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology, specialising in Discovery, which she completed in June 2021. Her academic journey has been marked by distinguished achievements, including recognition on the Dean’s Honour List from 2019 to 2021 and a spot on the Department of Biology Honour Roll at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada.  In addition to her academic prowess, Fatima has garnered valuable experience as a volunteer Paralegal, contributing her skills to the Case Work Team at various law firms. She is fluent in English and Filipino, her native language, and possesses elementary proficiency in French, showcasing her diverse linguistic capabilities.
